Tiktok has been banned for 14 hours around the start of January, the ban was removed the next morning and people are shocked.
Tiktokers like Duolingo, Frank Mele, Kaelimaee, and many more, if i put them all on this would be a whole day at that point.
Whenever they would make these videos, they would use a family guy clip where peter says he "didn't care for the grandfather" as he thinks he will die inside of a flooded elevator. And they would all use the same caption that reads the following "since tiktok is getting banned... theres one thing i need to tell you." and then would reveal the big thing about their secret.
First on the list, Duolingo. Duolingo revealed the person who was inside of the duo (Mascot) costume was a person named "Mark". After the "ban" they commented on the video with the following "Well this is awkward" because the ban was so short.
Next on the list was Frank Mele with over 10 million followers on TT (TikTok), he is known for his New York accent (N.Y Accent) and sipping coffee, he revealed on the ban that it was all fake, after the ban and 2 days later, they (him and his son) made a youtube video titled "The outcome of the tiktok ban" or something like that. (NOTICE : I cannot find the video on youtube anymore.)
Last but not least, Kaelimaee, she made TT (TikTok) videos about her using these "fancy" ice cubes inside of her drinks. Her video before the ban she made a video titled "had to get this off my chest if we really going out HAHAHAHA IM SORRRYYY" about the truth. After TT was unbanned we haven't heard much.
This all happened on January 18th of this current year (2025).
How did this happen? all because of some people thought they were spying on us, pretty bonkers right?
Now before this all ends, lets talk about the whole ban, also known In my mind as "TikTok's Day of Reckoning". Now lets start talking about that, the TikTok ban was announced around January 12, it made everyone shocked, I myself have american online friends, we stayed up until 2 am. We seen the whole ban / TTDOR (TikTok's Day of Reckoning) infront of our screens. The website was first shut down, and the app had a warning apon opening the app. Then 12 minutes later everything shut down, the website was taken down for america and the app couldn't be opened and was removed from the app store, then another application that can be used on both phone, and computer titled "CapCut" had also been shut down, the app on pc had a quit / error message and was shut down, the next day after that? it was back, not on the app store but both apps were back. And when uninstalled and deleted? you couldn't get them, and when writing this you still cant.
There still is a crazy amount of these videos still out on TT (TikTok) channels, and you can go find them to! Im not really sure how many are still up but you can find many!
Now now, why was this made on a website you may ask? its because this site will now include all of my school projects and you will be able to find them soon on this very website! everytime I make a page for a school project or something for the school! And now I'm stuck here wondering, what can happen next? well this is all possible to just randomly happen all over again, because people are pretty stupid and will think that the people who made TikTok are spying on us.
